ICANN has passed a resolution to add seven new top-level domains. These are
.info, .biz, .aero, .name, .pro, .museum, and .coop.

– This is a general purpose TLD that is unrestricted. The

– This is a general purpose TLD that is unrestricted. The application

.name
– This is a general purpose TLD intended for personal use. The
application is not entirely clear how they will handle new
registrations. The application does state that they are securing all

.pro
– This is a general purpose, yet restricted to professionals only. Please read the application to see if you think that

.aero
– This is a special purpose TLD that will be restricted to qualified

.coop
– This is a special purpose TLD that will be restricted to qualified
